Gunroom Assistant/Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new full time Gunroom Assistant/Manager at Honesberie Shooting School. This position has become available due to family circumstances of our current Manager, who will be staying on to facilitate the handover. 

Honesberie is situated at the heart of a 400-acre farm located on the Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire borders. We pride ourselves on offering something for everyone, always keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do. 

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to take full responsibility for the Gunroom and salary will be dependent on experience. Minimum expected hours are 40 per week to include weekend work. Applicants should be prepared to be flexible.

Skills/Job duties required for the day to day running of the Gunroom

Self-motivated
Team player and able to work on own initiative
Customer service
Excellent communication
Proficient in sales
Computer literate
Clean driving license
Firearms and Shotgun license (desirable but not essential)
Competent European traveller (minimum of 6mths on passport)
Maintain fleet of school guns
Ability to teach (desirable but not essential

Freelance Instructors and Scorers

We are a small team here at Honesberie but are always on the lookout for freelance instructors, or anyone who is interested in scoring at our competitions (minimum age of 13 – maximum age any). Scoring is great fun and easy to do. Training is given.
