Follow through or Pull Away is the technique that is taught at Honesberie 75% of the time and it means connecting to the target i.e. matching its speed and line before pulling away to the appropriate gap before firing.
Maintained Lead teaches holding a pre-judged lead always in front of the target. This is more suitable for the experienced shooter.
Chop Off is a technique which moves straight to the point of fire. This is very favourable for an extremely fast target such as a Teal or a Battue. |
