Ground Layout and Disciplines Offered

Honesberie is particularly well equipped with a variety of stands which replicate all types of clay and game targets. There are two towers, 60' and 80'. The variety of stands and ground layout allows both FITASC and English Sporting disciplines to be practised.

Standard

Diameter 110mm
Height 26mm

This is the most widely used clay. Suitable for all disciplines it can be used to simulate every type of game.

Midi

Diameter 90mm
Height 23mm
Weight 74g

This is a similar profile to the standard but smaller. It is used for sporting disciplines and simulates partridge and grouse.

Rabbit

Diameter 110mm
Height 16mm
Weight 120g

This clay is designed specifically for both automatic and manual traps. It is thrown out in an upright position and bounces along the ground in a rabbit fashion.

Battue

Diameter 107mm
Height 9mm
Weight 76g

The clay's flat profile causes it to fly fast for a distance and then roll and drop rapidly. Suitable for sporting and fitasc disciplines.

Chondel

This is either a standard or midi clay that is thrown sideways on.
